Sakya Gongma Trichen RInpoche’s arrival in Switzerland.
Sakya delegation led by Sakya Gongma Trinchen Rinpoche visited Switzerland at the invitation of Tsechen Association in Switzerland and Liechtenstein from 12 August to 14 August 2022 as part of the delegation’s Europe tour. Representative Thinlay Chukki of the Tibet Bureau received the Sakya Gongma Trinchen Rinpoche-led delegation upon arrival in Switzerland on 12 August 2022.
On the second day of the visit, Sakya Gongma Trinchen Rinpoche bestowed Buddha Amitayus empowerment to the public. An estimated over 2,500 Tibetans and Tibetan Buddhist followers gathered to receive the empowerment. Representative Thinlay Chukki along with Rikon Tibet Institute’s Khen Rinpoche-Geshe Thupten Legmen, President Karma Choekyi and Vice President Tenzin Wangdu of the Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Liechtenstein attended the empowerment initiation. The Representative also offered mendrel to His Eminence during the prayer session.
The Sakya Delegation also included the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche who granted individual blessings to all the attendees of the empowerment initiation on 13 August 2022.
