A delegation from the USAID is currently on a four-day visit to the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamshala and Bir Tibetan settlement from today, 21 March. The delegation was welcomed at the Kangra airport today by staff of the Social and Resource Development (SARD), Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration.
During the visit, the delegation will meet Sikyong Penpa Tsering, members of the Tibetan Parliament and visit the various offices of the Central Tibetan Administration including Department of Education, Home, and Health. They will visit and meet the staff of the Women Empowerment Desk, new Tibet Museum, and the Tibetan Career Center. The delegation will also meet staff of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) like Norbulingka institute, the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), The Tibet Fund, National Democratic Institute (NDI), etc.
The delegation will visit TCV Gopalpur and Bir Tibetan settlement on Wednesday, 23 March. The visit will conclude on 25 March.
