His Holiness the Dalai Lama Leaves for Delhi and Ladakh

DHARAMSHALA: His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamshala today for a brief Delhi visit and a 19-day teaching tour in Ladakh. President Dr Lobsang Sangay accompanied His Holiness to the airport.

In Delhi, His Holiness will attend the official launch of Happiness Curriculum which will be introduced in Delhi government schools from Kindergarten to class VIII. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will also attend the ceremony on 2 July.

On 3 July, His Holiness will arrive on his 19-day teaching tour in Ladakh. During his stay, His Holiness will visit Diskit Monastery and Nubra valley.

He will return to Dharamshala on 21 July.
