Tibetan community’s Sunday schools from various part of Switzerland & Liechtenstein present Tibetan culture performances and the traditional Nobel Peace Prize song.

Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein celebrated the 29th anniversary of the conferment of Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness the Dalai Lama on Saturday.

The program began with a long-life prayer offering for His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama.

Norbu Tsamda, President of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein, addressed the gathering by reflecting upon His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s significant role and contribution in promoting world peace, and his tireless efforts in advancing Tibetan struggle for peace and justice.

Representative Ngodup Dorjee read the 15th Kashag’s statement marking the 29th Anniversary of the conferment of Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Ven Thupten Wangchen and Jampa Sumdo, Europe-Tibetan Parliamentarians, also addressed the occasion. They called for a greater unity among Tibetans.

The best possible way that Tibetans could fulfil the wishes of having His Holiness the Dalai Lama stay longer life is genuinely following the advices of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, said Ven Thupten Wangchen.
